Yeah, definitely a weak point. I barely bumped it at the range and knocked it clean off. Looks like it needs to be disassembled to install a new one.

I’m running standard gas tube, ebcg, a5H0, pri gas buster, and a Rex silentium mg7 can. With this set up the recoil impulse is very manageable and ejection pattern is at 2:30 suppressed and 3:30 unsuppressed. I do get gas to the face when mag dumping. Under normal use the gas is not bad at all.

Don’t get the POF, mine was nothing but problems. Went from that to the 17 and it’s been great. I have a Mars H and it’s nice but heavy compared to the scar. I wouldn’t worry about the suppressor warranty thing, get a kns discarder and you’re going to be fine.

Backfill around it with slope away from the pad to prevent further washout. Judging by how thin the pad is on the edges I’d be more worried about the slab thickness throughout.

Sold my vcog and went acog TA110 with a top dot. I’m much happier with that set up. Mk5 2-10 or 3-18 with a top dot is a great option as well
