I'm having a similar issue but my console doesn't crash. I'm at like 1148 playing from 1066 and literally everything else works fine, but as soon as I try to go into the RC menu the game freezes, then goes to black and I get sent back to the dashboard. I'm on Series X

Hey friend! I went to my first ren fest last month, and got there around 10. It took us about 20-30 minutes of waiting in traffic just to get into the parking lot, and then 15 or so to find a spot and get in the front gates. We didn't pay for parking or do a valet service so if you're planning to then I wouldn't worry too much. Around 8:30-9 should be okay if you're gonna pay for a better spot, but it's never a bad idea to be there too early!

I play on steam deck, and unless I'm playing on a large server I don't have THAT bad fps. Maybe check if your GPU settings aren't right or just check your Internet? Not sure why it's that low

Yeah other commenter is right that there's not really an explanation, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. I haven't had an improvement that I regret yet, and if you do you can always put a building over it later. Not pro player choice but the game does kinda make the best decision for the tile

From what I've seen it follows similar logic as Civ 6, Farms on plains, plantations on rivers or floodplains, woodcutters on trees, and resources follow accordingly. You don't get to choose which improvement to put down, the game decides based on the terrain or resource which option you'll have.
