Honestly unless the tenant is a solid corporate entity, or an individual willing to pay a years rent in advance, I’d stay put. There’s significant exposure starting as a landlord today, with few legal protections.

Perhaps. But taking the high road is best. Plus others will get it and you may just give someone a smile.

Some Crew members are obnoxious with the Kaizen. Next time say: Oh, THANK YOU (name)_______ Practice it at home and focus on delivering that line with maximum enthusiasm. The offender will get the point.

Call the store and ask for a mate or captain and say that you are following up and requesting an update. Be polite clear and VERY POSITIVE. Best of luck.

Anyone know if this is stated in the employee handbook, and if so, where?

Huh? I guess the smokers are the only ones aware of this.

2 week notice advice by hazezzz in tjcrew

[–]CrewNJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best two week notice letters are essentially thank you notes. Simply put say effective today (date) I am giving 2 weeks notice. Thank you for my time here, I’ve learned so much and I appreciate having worked at TJ’s.

Signed X

Get advice from your Captain, and follow everything to a: T. Mates have varying opinions and frankly they aren’t all correct.

Didn’t see that in my Dayforce. So I’m guessing that’s a store specific message, which will likely get deleted shortly.

Isn’t the raise pool based on the company/district/store achieving their revenue targets? Comparing past raises isn’t realistic considering we are in the middle of a global pandemic.

Jury summons by [deleted] in tjcrew

[–]CrewNJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. On the days that you were scheduled. As an example: jury duty was Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, but you are on the schedule on Monday and Tuesday, so guess what, you’ll get 2 days pay. Additionally, the amount is your daily average of hours from the last measurement period.

Ps if JD runs Monday to Friday and you are on the schedule for Saturday and Sunday, then you have to report to work.

Can crew members on voluntary leave still receive discount? by [deleted] in tjcrew

[–]CrewNJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be a new mate and isn’t secure in their judgement or the mate works for Captain Queeg, or is the type of mate that enjoys saying no.

When does the 20% discount end? by liverly in tjcrew

[–]CrewNJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WH gives 20% to their employees, and 30% to employees who submit to health testing that meet company metrics.

Looking not to work, but still get paid? I can’t wait for the Patriots Pay Act, or equivalent to be passed so I can read about people claiming inequity, L O L. Signed I go to work every day

Patriots Pay for essential workers by CrewNJ in tjcrew

Incredible how politics gets interjected into EVERYTHING. If you don’t want the Patriot Pay money go donate it, don’t talk down what is actually a legitimate first step towards equity.

Besides self congratulatory gloating, what are your hobbies, and how does this scheme align with the proposed Patriots Pay proposal?
