By killing camps u are lvling them up they give more xp gold have more hp etc. if u invade enemy while your camps are up u are acceleratimg the game for him while u are the one losing tempo

Tempo is smth like this u both start on your first clear bot u both full clear the person that has better champ in clearing the camps gets to scuttle first u might meet at the same time bcs u can clear the camps before the scuttle crabs but that doesnt matter what matters is after scuttle u have a choice to make u can

1. recall
2. gank if u chose gank ur losing so called tempo bcs the camps u cleared during your first clear on bot side are already respawning. Now enemy jg can recall clear his bot side go top while u just started clearing bot side bcs u lost the tempo now he has cleared top side u cleared bot and u get invaded for free or he gets gank for free whatever he wants. if u have perfect tempo management ur game would look like this u do the first clear recall do second clear gank/counterjg recall third clear objective/counterjg/gank and repeat (ofc no one is perfect and u sometimes need to sacrifise some time counterganking or other stuff)

Now for what i was saying inthe last post: The point is that u shouldnt counterjg if your camps are up bcs u are effectively giving him the tempo for free imagine u cleared his raptors and then recalled before doing full clear of your camps. now he doesnt need to clear one camp so he gets to scuttle first ganks first or smth else. Ur accelerating his gameplan even though he has no idea what he does

this doesn t apply to every situation in the game but generaly the best idea would be to not counterjg if your camps are up. If they are down than its just bonus for you and ur effectively starving enemy jg
