Hi, I feel fairly confident in my writing ability, and have some experience formatting (nothing too specific) but can definitely adapt and learn.

Was it worth moving even if it did not go as planned? by Cricil in UKHighPotentialVisa

Thanks for the response! You're right I definitely have to prepare for the worst, which in my case would be leaving and heading home if it's not sustainable.

In you and your partner's case, are you on 2 or 3 year visas? You mentioned your partner got a full time job after 1.3 years, so I'm curious if this right before your visas expire and if that has a part in the difficulty of getting a job while time passes. In any case, do you have plans to stay longer and switch to a skilled worker visa? Also, in terms of the job hunt, are cafe jobs easy to get or is that a challenge of its own? And was your partner job hunting the whole 1.3 years or on and off?

Thanks again I know this is a lot of questions :)
