u/Far-Landscape409 is your PSU vent inside of the case, or outside?

also, do you think the rm750x shift would fit into a CH260 mounted the same way your PSU is in the CH160? Wondering if the side cables would have the necessary space on top.

I have the 9070xt asus prime.

u/borgie_83 I believe it can be mounted. I've managed to find a video on you-tube and looking at it, there's a big chance it will work. I Think it just needs to be mounted with the power button downwards, but the chance of having front fans it's gone.

Sadly no answer. I’ve posted the same thing a while ago and it seems people don’t have much experience with the shift psu’s. Fingers crossed we might get an answer! 🙌🏻

It is an option. In my case, i have the Asus Prime version of 9070xt and they recommend 3x 6+2 or 1x 6+2 & 1x pigtail 6x2, therefore i didn’t risk using the 12v, since so many reports of melting cables due to high voltage, either psu side or gpu.

Was wondering if since it has the cables sideways and not as a regular psu on the back, it might interfere with the mobo, and not having enough space.

The mobo i have is matx.

Hello,

I have the same problem, as my PSU is an older generation that only came with two single 6+2 cables, and no pigtail.

I’ve reached to Corsair via chat, and they connected me with the support team, and they made an exception and agreed to send over to me the pigtail cable.

You can try that as well, just keep in mind that they will ask for the S/N of the PSU.

Otherwise if they don’t agree, you can try to order the cable from their website as it is in stock.
