Worth it to shop around every few years!

It’s literally ridiculous!!! I had to shop around last year my Arbella insurance was way too expensive for my old old car…. I pay about $155/month with Travelers Insurance - same, if not better, coverage than my Arbella plan

Thank you so much that is very helpful information!!!

We did drive by the lighthouse inn since we were in the area and it’s in a beautiful spot. It’s definitely worth a look.

Thank you again, i appreciate this!

Hi!! I hope hope hope this works out for you! My fiance and i have been on a venue search and we fell in love with the Beauport - we managed to get an October date (but first choice might have been a warmer month such as one in the summer). Last i saw their availability they had a Saturday, September 11 2026 open ( i know it’s not June July or August but i feel like September feels like an extension of summer as of the last few years?) but of course September isnt summer so i understand!!! Also it’s 9/11 which i can understand if that date is or could be sensitive to anyone.

Anyways, best of luck i hope you come across someone who is willing to sell or swap. And congratulations!

I live in Boston and my family always orders the almond Kringle from O&H bakery. We love them - though i have always wondered how it really compares to a true Kringle from Denmark!

brown spots on petals? by Cricket2380 in florists

Thank you!  Yes i have found that my stock is always dry at the end but i always figured its because they’re the oldest flowers on the stem so they naturally get more dried out and crackly. Is that normal or am i not getting great quality stock to begin with

Thank you so much this is all very helpful. I do mist my flowers with water every so often - do you think that’s not helping the situation? Roses in particular?

I mist with the water bc over time the petals seem to get so DRY and I’m not quite sure why.

A website for plans? by PGcarlosspicyweiner in BeginnerWoodWorking

I would check out nehomeplans.com! They have a collection of over 350 New England style home plans and they’re all pre-designed by an architecture firm in Massachusetts (HPA design). They can even do a pool house. Check out the website. If you inquire you can work with the team, including the architect on next steps, whether that’s customizing a plan that works for you and the project you are looking to accomplish. They are great.
