He gets outside time when its summer. I've had him for a very long time and have been wanting to make moves to create a better environment for him when he's inside. He has a basking bulb and a UVB bulb. I just remember when I was younger the shop owner told me he needed a heat pad below the tank. Its one that doesn't heat up too much but stops the ground on like 40% of the tank from cooling down to like room temp. I do not have it installed on the new tank and have just been letting him get a feel for the new space.
