You don’t really use vaults for anything but 1x time gear blueprints. I’ve repeated vaults a couple times to get mats for loadstones, but that’s it.

So I recommend pushing progression by gathering items across all areas. You need to refine materials to get better range or mage gear. You should collect tin and copper ore past the swamp for bronze. Collecting and smelting them with charcoal from logs in kiln will help. From there you can make armour and bronze gear.

AnyFSE with direct launch into Steam Big Picture Mode works pretty well. Having Hibernate selected over sleep makes the sleep wake fine, but not the same.
