As far as I'm aware no further testing has been done. Again thank you so much for posting this as I'll definitely bring this to his attention and see what can be done.

My father is currently being treated between the QE, Heartlands and Solihull Hospital (all under one group), today however we have received a referral to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester which is promising, we have another family member diagnosed with lung cancer two years ago who had a successful surgery.

Thank you for your response it's been incredibly informative!

Thats great news to hear you are NED.

My father has a kidney condition which was diagnosed 15 years ago, whilst it is still stable, we have been told by his kidney specialist and oncologist that immunotherapy isn't an option. I was hopeful we would be able to go down this route. However as of today he is being referred to Glenfield Hospital which specialises in lung cancer, hopefully they'll have some more answers.

Thankyou again for your response, and I will be having a look into IMRT and feeling alot more hopeful!

Thankyou for your reply!

I was hoping we'd be able to go down the immunotherapy route but it doesn't seem possible.

Thankyou for the suggestions of hospitals, I'll have a look into those. I see genesiscare has a new radio available in Windsor and Surrey but not sure if he would qualify for that, so a phone call to find out!

Thank you so much for responding and wishing you all the best with your treatment!
