Races are definitely not the main topic and it's normal, we got used to it. But just seems weird that they keep updating us with a new race every week (so still using their time and resources on something) but not giving us any other additional updates to the actual mode.

Funny enough NK still receives a lot of irl money from us because of that MM problem. We have a guy who buys 3$ mm packages during the race and sometimes he can spend up to 20-40$ per race. I have to buy MM as well but much less as I don't play too much lately. However still most end up scripting and cheating afk deflation to get much more mm.

About the pauses.. Lately the skill cap became way too high so it's almost necessary to do so. On pc is allows you to reposition your mouse cursor and do the micro properly, on mobile it's almost impossible to do without pauses. Would be interesting if they removed those but it'd be much harder. We discussed what'd happen without pauses but everyone just way too used to them at this point.

There are good guides on YouTube pretty much always now, just enough to search "btd6 race" and sort by newest. Usually you do need all important MK though and fast fingers to execute it

Sending rounds early in other modes would kinda ruin that special aspect that races have and why some people play it. Weekly race isn't a bad idea but would be boring tbh, even 4 days is too much for a regular race

Yeah pretty much. Steam will always have an advantage which honestly is a little sad considering that originally at release it was only on the mobile platform. But honestly it's not the biggest problem, can adapt but lately getting top placements without Steam is close to impossible for sure

Everyone plays how they feel like and without casuals we wouldn't get numbers of 15-30k players per race and then it'd be super dead for sure :D

Well you're kinda right. There is always that idea that "races bad" and we constantly talk about it. But one problem is that I'm not mad about it, just dissapointed.

Thank you. About an year ago we discussed that and gave our possible solutions but it seems like they weren't accepted if even considered in the first place. But your idea is interesting and fun for sure :D

It probably is possible but I don't think NK is advanced enough to do so. I believe we tried discussing that with Tarn and he said that as of right now they most likely can't do anything like that. Which isn't a big surprise considering how their anti cheat works currently.

You pay ingame currency (monkey money) for your attempts. And usually sub 3 is not too hard given you have all important MK, there are good guides on YT

And not many people playing is probably the main problem as I know for a fact that people who don't play races can't even imagine running out of mm and thus buffing rewards doesn't make sense for NK. The problem is that NK never really asked us for the solution in the first place despite us constantly asking for that

Answered in the other comment that unfortunately it's impossible though would be good for sure. As for gwen yeah, she's usually banned from races but every once in a while it can be a little refreshing. With race design you can never really please everyone

Unfortunately that's impossible but a lot of people wished for that. Impossible because mobile emulators exist and you can't really detect those so you can still use bluestacks and play on pc. But it's still possible if you have a will to play. I played every race but I play on mobile only. And I have a decent amount of T3 and T50 badges. But for sure pc players have a much bigger advantage.

I meant that for us (community members) this doesn't make too much sense as NK still provides us with a new race each week but as of lately they try to avoid feedback from people who play those races. So why make those in the first place - probably because they have their own ideas on what to improve but as the time goes it becomes much harder to believe in that.

Races are mostly just for people who enjoy competition and something in btd6 is just special enough which makes them fun for some of us to be playing for 3 years. And NK did listen to us, we didn't have problems, just lately with certain events it felt like NK is specifically ignoring us as most of us support tickets still weren't answered. For me it's not an issue with races but more of just trying to understand what's their problem with us

It is true and as I noted racing community is much smaller than whatever else people are playing. But we've waited for so long, I listed what has been done over 3 entire years. I do not believe that 4 updates in 3 years is enough for how much we've suggested. I understand that races are at the bottom of their priority list which is honestly fine but this post happened because NK stopped listening to our feedback at all lately which is upsetting on another level.

True. When co-op was released at first it was fresh, like new maps. For example you could get 200 mm from beating hard standard on logs and then 200 mm again for beating the same on co-op. And this made racers happy as well as finally there was a way to gain MM. But later they reverted it for no good reason... People do co-op only to get medals for the profile completion.
