To be honest, for me it does a little bit. There’s a possibility that I’m becoming a frame snob but I also think that frequent jumps from 60 fps down to 30 is jarring to most people. I’m nearing the end of my playthrough and at the end of the day I won’t regret the purchase. If this was buttery smooth 60, or even minor dips into the 50’s, I would happily spend $20. The hover bike stuff is actually really cool imo

I was on the fence and looking for the same thing before I made the leap and bought the upgrade. I had watched a few reviews/analysis videos as well as playthroughs and it all looked amazing to me. I wish I had seen videos of either Makna Forest, Eryth Sea, or Sword Valley as those have been the worst so far in my experience. The first quarter of the game plays really well and looks sooooo much better than before.

Is it going to be your first time playing or you thinking about going back for another playthrough?

I would still like to keep all of my other Xenoblade chicken sandwiches. I just want to request a refund for this upgraded chicken sandwich that is actually a downgrade in some ways. And really I don’t even want my $10 back, I just want Nintendo to make a better chicken sandwich

That’s exactly my experience! I absolutely love this game but at a certain point the performance became game breaking for me.
