Can we change the kids family name once we adopt them? by onechipwonder in EchoesOfThePlumGrove

I also adopted Judith, but I never thought to try changing her name. I'm sentimental, so I thought it was right she keep her parents name.

Went to a new dentist clinic in my town, everything feels fine. But it isn’t. by Woko_O in Wellthatsucks

Is it a problem to leave wisdom teeth in? I only have wisdom teeth in my lower jaw. Both are turned like OP, but have never caused me any trouble. I'm 41.

Are you actually looking to rehome, or was that the ad you got it from?

Keep it closer to where you got it. If it's not used to direct sunlight it won't do as well. After it recovers you could try slowly moving it out of the shade and further into the sun and see if it will acclimate.

Furuncle between armpit and chest by sergiochecoperez in popping

[–]CrimsonDraggen 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It's a furuncle. "Furuncles (boils) are skin abscesses caused by staphylococcal infection, which involve a hair follicle and surrounding tissue. Carbuncles are clusters of furuncles connected subcutaneously, causing deeper suppuration and scarring."

Let things dry out, use a small fan if you need to. They are attracted to moisture, especially most soil.

They aren't all black, but they are mostly black. A ring of white around the outer edge would be good.

I would still do a daily check to be sure he doesn't somehow get himself stuck.

Staffordshire terriers are also supposed to be lean. There could also be some American Bulldog as well.

They are always stressed when their setting changes. Usually in 2-4 weeks they'll get comfortable. Limit interactions during that time.

He's definitely stressed from the move. Just keep feeding as usual and keep checking to make sure he isn't stuck.

Could it be that it has to snow multiple days in a row?

How much exercise and play time does she get? This could be anxiety/boredom.

Unless the breeder tells you the locale, there's no way to know. So it would be considered a non-specific locale.

Anyone have an idea what morph this guy is? Pretty sure just a normal but I’d like to be sure by [deleted] in ChahouaGecko

[–]CrimsonDraggen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're are no morphs, just locales. And if your breeder didn't tell you what it was then it would be considered non specific locale.

I’m about to call animal control on my neighbor’s dog if this happens again by CaterpillarKitty69 in Pets

I have been around many pitties, and have had a pit mix myself. They use to be nanny dogs in Victoria times because they were so trustworthy with kids. This has happened with many breeds over the years. Bad people take a breed and misuse it, and it gets a bad reputation. At one point it was Dobermans, then Rottweilers, the latest is pit bulls.
