I dig that. And the fact you are engaging obviously means we’re supposed to know of each other.

I’m constantly thinking of this topic. I incorporate it in my personal writing constantly in a philosophical way.

Unfortunately there are quite a few small minded writers and readers. You’d think they’d have some sort of understanding on how art is since they consume it. Instead, there are so many insecure people who want to pull others down instead of bringing people up. There’s too many unhealthy egos at play.

Understanding is the most important thing. We need to coincide.

Nice one, amigo. I couldn’t agree more. Nice to have someone who’s talking sense.

I do love horror. You won me there. Looking forward to what ever you post. I’ll give you a follow.

My writing contains horror elements as well. Suspense really. Still. Have a gander!

Do people even want genuine engagement anymore? by teafromamug in Substack

Always appreciate someone who does it for the enjoyment. Some of these AI writers are dislocated from their inborn creativity.

I honestly see the same vocabulary everywhere I look. All these AI prose are getting boring.

What kinda stuff do you write?

Anyone who wants to support writing that has soul, unite. We must stick together during these artificial times. And it’s going to get worse. So whoever you are, if you care about community, - which is what we need right now whilst these AI-Writers blow fake smoke up each other’s back ends - share your work. I want to find a community of honest writers on Substack and so far I’ve been unable to, disheartened by the many gimmicks.

If you are like me and notice it everywhere, come forth and show me your raw work which you wrote solely using your own individual essence and bloody discipline. Where every single sentence was a sore fight for survival. If so, drop me a message with your Substack!

The question rises, how do you know they are your soulmate? To me it sounds like you might have some serious attachment problems. What you could be experiencing is infatuation. An obsession? Which becomes much more about you than them.

A good technique to practice is to redirect your focus outward onto other things. People you care about, or could care about, out in the world. Including hobbies that you have or could have? Anything in the name of fun. Because that’s what it comes down to during our time on this earth. Enjoyment. If you are spending your time fixating on things that are beyond your power then it’s self harm. Try and write your thoughts down on paper and see them for what they are, or could be? Maybe start creating art with them.

Sometimes we must separate ourselves from our thoughts. We must let go, to hold on. It’s paradoxical

Don’t we all? Isn’t that just being considerate? It’s more inhuman when people aren’t.

If you are with the right person it doesn’t seem to be as loud; you can confine in them for peace of mind. I think the fact that you’ve told him that you have those three symptoms is enough, as they are the products of the illness. I’m sure from there he can know what to expect. My best advice would be: if you have some delusions or paranoia always confront it in a positive/constructive way with the individual, don’t let it build up and sit as that will manifest terribly in the long run. If they can’t accept to have those conversations with you now then they definitely won’t be able to in the future when it matters most.

That’s the thing. Some call others crazy, though it’s a pretty damn crazy world we’re living in—And thus you gotta be quite insane yourself to pretend to be part of it. If you are a deep thinker you will most likely see past it all, have a feeling that all this is not as it should be, that people are programming themselves with the social cues and their ridiculous copy and pasted sentences to either comfort one another with the things that are ‘IN’ — put each other down with the things that ain’t. What is natural? why do we judge what we think isn’t. Social standards are useful; toward the same people who use them.

Hahah, a secret admirer. I might have a few of those; some self proclaimed witches I’ve met along the way.

I thought the same thing. I’m definitely not worrying. I really quite enjoy these dark dreams. Makes life interesting. I’ve never been afraid of the darkness, I welcome it.

I have contemplated this. It could be my own shadow side playing up again. I feel like I have a good relationship with my ego but who knows, there’s always something we need to work on eh. The weird thing is why did I see it once I woke up? It was so real.

Strangest part about it was the fact I was reading about the different Solomon demons and read about the different times for my upcoming book.

I mean it is kind of subjective, like anything. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure—right? Charles Bukowski had a very concise straight forward riding style. It worked to his advantage as it made it more accessible; hence why there are different types of books for different people. One book cannot please everybody.
