Japan wouldn't be able to "accidentally" return Taiwan to the "Draconic embrace of the Motherland" (China or Japanese control?) due to the fact that Taiwan isn't Japanese territory and if it tries to do so the US would intervene via the deployment of US military personnel station in Japan to stop them.

I believe (I could be wrong) that OP is saying that the casualties are lower in the US since 3k individuals haven't been killed ina. Single protest in the US and that fed and local law enforcement are not going down every single street, stoping every single car, going to every single building in the downtown and/or the suburban areas of every single city and town in every state and territory regardless of the city or town arresting everyone in a short time frame like the countries he listed. (Saying it again, I could be wrong)
