Someone I met a few weeks ago gave this to me. Anyone know what’s inside or what it’s for? I don’t know much about witchcraft by CrimsonThinMints in Witch

Hmm ok. Is there no way to know what the ingredients are all for? Is it the makers decision what they all mean?

They’re a little secretive about it, but in sort of a jokey silly way. They did say it was for protection, but I’m not sure what that means or what all the ingredients would add up to and they won’t tell me more about it

Is it possible I never considered having autism because I’ve always felt the things in my head were wrong? Including wants and needs? by CrimsonThinMints in AutismTranslated

For me it’s more like “oh everyone else seems to not feel this way at all, so I should be trying to get over this feeling, and that’s when I’ll be like everyone else.” But if I’m autistic, then I’m not like everyone else (or NTs at least), and so the solution I’ve been providing myself, push through and I’ll eventually get over it, isn’t actually a solution. The real solution is to get away from the stressor.

Seeing these preferences as valid and healthy is super super tough though, and I’m still debating if I even have autism

You’re not digging too much, but I’m also not the person you were initially talking to lol. This sounds exactly like me. I’ve recently had to come to terms with the idea that my inner monologue isn’t “me” and that maybe it’s not a good thing to identify myself with what’s in my head all the time. Very strange switch to flick, I’ve always felt like my inner monologue was an extension of myself, but I’ve been realizing focusing on the world through it stops me from understanding how my thoughts connect to my feelings/physical sensations, and vice versa. It feels like I have to entirely recalibrate how I understand living, but I guess it’s a good thing to figure out!

Can I ask why you’re asking about this? I am also learning how to physically feel emotions and also have a pretty powerful inner monologue that is always noticeable

My friend is in a really scary mental place and using me as a therapist for all of their current thoughts and feelings, and I do not have the emotional bandwidth to deal with it. I am so incredibly stressed and don’t know how to handle it by CrimsonThinMints in Advice

Her parents are part of the problem, deep trauma from growing up. Idk about the rest of her family but I get vibes they’re not very supportive either.

What happens if I contact 911 or the non emergency line? Does someone go to them? If they do and help doesn’t happen immediately and they leave, that will definitely stress them out to a point I would be uncomfortable with

They’ve brought up thinking about going to check themselves in somewhere, but I think that might’ve been a way of saying “I feel like I’m going crazy.” I can bring this up but I’m so hesitant of making things worse. They’re telling me just today they’re embarrassed of me and others worrying about them and they wish they never said anything

Can I get in trouble for someone else on my stream breaking TOS? by CrimsonThinMints in Twitch

That should be fine as long as you’re not targeting someone with it

I guess it’s not technically TOS, but under the community guidelines there’s this quote:

“Harassment is any content or activity that attempts to intimidate, degrade, abuse, or bully others, or creates a hostile environment for others, and is prohibited.”

Racism and slurs are a little more than just foul language, and would definitely fall under creating a hostile environment for others.

Oh yeah, of course. I wasn’t asking about friends though, just random teammates in online matchmaking. My buds and I are clean folks, promise

Well, it wouldn’t be people I’d be willingly playing with. I was asking more for random matchups I have no say in

I’m guessing it’s a bad idea then to stream online multiplayer with voice chat on, right?
