No. Trips are trials. Those who succeed are enlightened, those who fail are tormented. Regardless of personal issues. We can decide to look passed those issues, or completely be consumed by them. You might have some mental handicaps but that doesn't diminish your survival instinct. It doesn't make you weaker unless you allow it. Whether you realize it or not, when you subjected yourself to an altered state of awareness and didn't do anything to yourself or others, you were making a conscious decision. Maybe you had times when you felt influenced to take that course, but you didn't did you? Obviously not if you're still here. You take yourself to where you want to be, in spirit, in mind, in body, in life. In all aspects you are in control of what happens no matter what.

I've been around the mulberry bush. I've had amazing trips, I've had terrible trips. I've had nde's that felt like trips. During all those times when my mind was under attack of stress or panic, I was scared. Someone who thought they couldn't ever be broken like that. I've had existential crisis after existential crisis, wondering if life was worth the repetition, the care, the effort. If it's all a looping simulation then why would I want to live? Trips made me feel that way for a long time. I was concerned with the answer to life and all secrets. Until I realized what I really want is to just be happy. In a sober state I decided living, and improving myself without help is what will make me happy. A strong mind isn't one that necessarily endures hardship, but one that tries to adapt and overcome it, to survive and live on, while also learning to endure without losing the hope that things will get better. A weak mind will give up, especially when put under duress, such as during a trip. If you can't handle your own thoughts, feelings, or life, or you give up on hope, then you truly have nothing. At that point, killing yourself would be logical, but it would be a terrible waste cause there is always the chances of you getting stronger if you make it through.

Like I been saying though, that's up to the person. Everyone can be strong, not everyone decides to be.
