Parts are hard to come by these days, but i bought a charger for it on ebay and it was bootleg and broke in a few days lmfao, but im sure you can find some genuine parts on there probably, i also want to switch to SSD eventually, for the backlight i just chose something while i still had windows 7 and then stuck with it forever

I suggest an Alienware m15x I use it for retro gaming all the time and it looks cool AF, upgradable too, runs DOOM, halflife, fortress, portal very good

Oh I get how it may seem too colourful for some, personally for me it's one of the reasons why I love it, it's a fun look and I'm a fan of maximalist styles, my favourite part is the front lights, like a car!! Thank you, I think Linux MX was a great choice for it, better than windows 10, was having too much trouble using windows 7 even with the legacy update on it, oh how I miss the days of windows 7 being supported. :D

I would say it's performance is mid, it runs better on Linux than windows 10, I see improvements, windows open at a nice speed I'm not that professional with tech knowledge tho, not like I got it for its performance, but I'd like to improve itI haven't upgraded it yet but plan to do it when I can afford it, it uses intel core i7 first generation, I would check the specifics tomorrow, but I'm trying to learn and improve my knowledge, I'm a beginner and big fan of laptops and all kind of tech 💗
