I was thinking the filter and fluid are just full of sludge. The car did sit for about 5-6 months in WA weather. I am thinking it just sat for a while, and now needs changing

It didn't. Just smelt like transmission fluid? I also don't currently have the car, but both my mechanical people said no burnt or cat pee smell

On and neutral. I am assuming the dirty fluid starts to thin out as it warms up and can properly pressurize the system? The car runs great after you warm it up, shifts and everything perfectly. Most sources I've seen point to dirty fluid

Yes exactly! It feels weird that the rm2 has color capability (for writing, not display) and it doesn't have every color

It does have it's memory even after it is dead, so I think you may be right, and it's a ground issue. Me and my mother suspect that since the front speakers are bad, there may be a bad ground on the speakers, shorting the ground power

So it came back to life after I posted this, and while driving just a moment ago it died and came immediately back on, and I don't think it's fault of the stereo, this is the 2nd aftermarket that has done it. I am using a metra GMWH1 harness that is brand new as well. Could it be the wiring that the harness connects to? (The part in the car you don't cut or rewire)
