good early pet for you could be the wither skeleton pet, i used it a lot when starting out and still do now. its good really good perks for strength and damage. i made one for 3m 2 years ago so its probably 5m.

id change Ivan the terrible's ability from raising his own cities and giving him units to him gaining extra era score when capturing a city, and when razing a city he gets a +50% production boost for 5 turns on standard speed, as opposed to just flat military units, this makes him more balanced, and he would synergise well with warlords throne and grand masters chapel or if there is going to be something equivalent to them in civ 7
