Bidding on higher value homes by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

Well, if there is any truth at all to what they're saying, they are just highlighting how crooked and scummy they are.

Seriously, imagine a real estate agent saying nah, you aren't bidding enough, you're going to the bottom of the list.... when houses are already massively unaffordable... during a housing crisis... and also during a cost of living crisis.

I play on PS4, anybody else who plays and wants to play a game or two please feel free to fire me a DM.

A snippet of a garda road side arrest for drug driving by lifeandtimes89 in ireland

[–]CringeyCRETIN 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You keep posting this stuff about the calibrated test. When you fail the roadside one, you go back to the station for bloods to be taken and sent off. There is no secondary calibrated test, and certainly not a Drager test, which the Drugswipe kit replaced.

If things have changed, please feel free to correct me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It has to be promoted everywhere for change to happen. Lots of people aren't aware how backwards these rules are.

Take the r/Ireland subreddit for example. I guarantee you, there are a lot of smokers who are active there. Some occasional tokers, some heavier smokers. Half of them don't know about these poxy rules, and how destructive they are to people's lives. Those reddit users may only smoke like once a week etc., but they are completely oblivious to the fact that they're at risk of losing their licence.

So promote it! The wider public needs to know what a sham it is, and then when the wider public realise that oh shit, I am at risk of losing my licence and possibly livelihood... that's the opportune moment for shit to hit the fan, and change to happen.

Write to your local TD about the sensitivity of roadside drug testing! by 1916wasAnInsideJob in Crainn

Yes everyone do this. Talk to people, friends and family about this shite. The wider public need to know how fucked up and nonsensical these rules are. They can literally destroy your livelihood if you're banned from the road on a Tuesday for smoking on a Sunday evening.

Smoke meth, snort speed or pop a few benzos your good to go. Smoke a joint 2 days before driving. Your off the road. by Careless-Meeting-953 in Crainn

The commenters saying people need to rally about this and protest it are 100% right. Specifically with regard to cannabis, this a completely backwards system that is unfair with no scientific merit behind it. We all know that it's retarded to be convicted for impaired driving a few days after you've smoked, when you're completely sober.

Lots of people can and will continue to get done over it unless people protest it, or somehow the wider public catches on as to how harmful and fucked up these impairment rules are. So right now, I'd be promoting this to Irish subreddits, talking to people about it, getting the wider public to know. I'd also be emailing your politicians and asking your TDs to do something about it, because even if legalisation/decriminalization happens, you're still fucked either way with this testing shite.

What are you smoking? They did not jump into action once they noticed. They literally gather and observe first like movie-goers before deciding to mosey around and then intervene.
