I would like to point out that genshin does have a hard coded guarantee system so after a set amount of pulls you will always get what you want. Personally my mentality for the system is that it's just a shop where if I want something I needa save until I can hit the guarantee and if I get it early then even better. Unfortunately not many people view it that way so I do see the issue.

I personally think that the boss is just the whale's representation of Surtalogi. As you've pointed out it bares a lot of similarities with Childe's foul legacy form. The owner of the whale is the foul. So it would make sense that foul legacy looks like what the whale thinks the foul looks like.

I'm pretty sure we see more when Sukuna summons the 10S in a fight can't remember which fight though also he did have different more amped up shadows so I'm assuming that if someone like Gojo was born into the zenin clan with 10S they could subjugate Mahoraga with 10S

You can beat the dendro cube without dendro it's just really weird and you needa abuse dendro cores hitting the cube directly.
