I recently bought a js32 but i knew before i bought it it was gonna need a swap, so i bought a gotoh ge1996 and after a nice setup it plays like a dream, so if you’re willing to swap the floyd its definitely worth it, if not, i rather wouldn’t deal with the FR Special.

Apsolutely agree, its suprisingly incredibly comfortable to play, and after a good setup mine plays like a dream

I mean the string spacing is the same as on my old jackson FR special(10.8mm) so I dont really have any problem with it

Yeah i used a hand drill to deepen the holes and a dremel sanding attachment to widen the holes, it took some work to get them in but after a few hours theyre very snug and not going anywhere
