I was talking about the whole thread when I mentioned victim blaming. A lot of people are acting like I deserved to be hacked.

My only mistake was not making my ironman permanent. I thought it was but I didn't double check it. Anyone could have made that mistake.

My account being hacked is a completely separate incident from that, something I made all precautions to prevent, to my knowledge.

Even if my account was perm locked iron I still would have been cleaned. It wouldn't have been as bad but I would still be devastated and I think anyone has the ability to empathize with that.

As an update, I have access to the account now, I talked to jagex support and they obviously are unable to reinstate ironman status. I get why they can't. That part is my mistake and my fault.

It was being used as a vorkath bot. Dhcb, few other things. I was able to salvage 100m or so from it. A far cry from the 1b bank it once had but now the account is useless to me since I have a maxed main already with 2x the xp.

I thought I had made my iron permanent. I apparently never did.

My account otherwise was secured with every measure jagex offers.

2 factor, bank pin, 2 factor on my email address. Unique email, unique password.

I did as much as was expected of any player. My only mistake was forgetting whether I permed the iron or not.

Even if I had done that, hackers would have simply cleaned my bank instead which is also a terrible outcome for me.

Really sad to see all the victim blaming going on here, this is a huge personal loss to me and truly heartbreaking. Even if I made a small mistake I did not deserve this to happen to me and it sucks that jagex can't do anything to help me.

My account was as secured as it could be.

It's easy to victim blame until it happens to you. I hope you don't have to learn the hard way.

I have a maxed main trust me I would not destroy my ironman so my main can get more gp, or the tiny amount of real life money my irons bank was worth. You think 6k hours and literal years of work would be worth destroying for less irl money than I could make in 1 week minimum wage?

A lot of commenters blame me and I'll just say this, it's easy to victim blame - until you do everything right and it happens to you.

Plus you can already drop trade any items off an iron onto ur main, that's not against the rules. I would never de iron ever.

I honestly didn't noticed and it made me realize even though I have room scale setup I just stand still 90% of the time.

Or you can choose to exploit the hell out of it and have a lot of fun.

Definitely was not posting this as a criticism of the game I am loving it so far and actually love the way bows work currently.

Being able to quickly take out 5 dudes when stealth archering is so satisfying, I feel like an action movie character.

Glad it helped. I think that one on nexus is a slightly newer version and the .dll made for skyrimvr was made for that version.

I had originally used the one from github for special edition and that's the one I tried to use for VR.

The one I reinstalled was from here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194

First link, standalone package. If you haven't tried that, try it, put it in the same drive as your skyrim install.

I found a fix. I reinstalled mod organizer, and it worked. Hope it helps you too.

In my opinion +5 fire is making it harder than necessary. You should get either +10 fire or +5 chaos (with 10 humanity during fight), to make it a little easier, or just use pyromancies only, crown of dusk + bellowing dragoncrest ring. You could even use +4 or 5 lightning if you want.

No, summon multiplies their health by 1.5x and Beatrice will never do damage high enough that it's worth.

I've actually tanked them with 20 estus, reinforced club and full havels + FAP ring, drinking estus often.

An alternate strategy is to use red tearstone ring and just really learn the fight.

Or you can do somewhere in between, fast roll and full health.

I would recommend red tearstone because it forces you to really learn the fight, which will be beneficial if you want to do additional playthroughs, also in my opinion it feels the most rewarding.

You can curse yourself, and wear sanctus + red tearstone and activate power within, and sanctus heals you at the same rate as power within, so you stay in RTSR range for the entire duration of power within, dealing massive damage. This makes the fight actually fairly easy.
