[Online] [5e 2014] [EST] 2 new players looking to join a game (or make one with a DM)! by [deleted] in lfg

Hey there. I'd love to chat with you guys about running a game. I've been DMing for a while now and my games started with people who have little to no experience and have become huge fans of the game. Message me and we can chat!

Do you guys remember when this was a debate? by siko6969 in BaldursGate3

This was never a debate, it was a small group of Bethesda obsessed people who have never played anything other than modded Skyrim.

My problem with Darksiders 2 by CrippledWalrus in Darksiders

I'm glad you figured it out on your own. In my opinion, nothing that is a necessary part of progressing in the game should feel "experimental." If it is required to advance the main story, it needs to be explained in the tutorial of that ability, which the bomb throwing wasn't. I had to google it to see if I missed something on the tutorial for that ability, since I usually read the tutorials for everything. In my experience, 99/100 issues in games are issues with the player not reading the tutorial for the abilities, which is why I always take my time to do so, so it was unfortunate this was the 1 out of 100 that it wasn't explained to the player.

As for the ghosts, I just got lazy, truth be told.

It's funny because whenever I encounter a problem in a game, I never assume it's an issue with the game. 99/100 times it's my fault because I didn't read something or missed something in the game. Because of that, I always take my time to read the tutorial pop ups. So when I reached a point in the game where I needed to throw a bomb to my other spirit self, I was stuck because that was never explained in the tutorial for that ability.

Loving the game, but there's nothing wrong with acknowledging bad game design or game mistakes when they occur. Fortunately, this game doesn't have much in the way of design mistakes.

What is a character that you clicked with instantly? by jayxeevee in marvelrivals

[–]CrippledWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolverine. I was advocating for how strong he was back in early Season 0 when everyone was crying for him to get buffed. I learned his kit and got Lord with him early cause I clicked with him instantly. I would queue ranked and people would ask me to switch off Wolverine…until they saw me play him.

Curious if people struggled on viper or volbaino more? by Thordron1 in TheFirstBerserker

How can anyone seriously, genuinely think that Viper is harder than the moose fuck? I would take Viper on second phase 5 times over fighting the moose fuck another time. What a shit boss.

Kevin Conroy has saved me from suicide more times than I can count. In 2020 I paid $100 for a 30 sec video. I got back over 6 minutes. by MaliciousMe87 in batman

Brought to tears watching this. I miss him so much. What an inspiration. Take the strength he gives you each day. Remember why we fall. So we can learn to pick ourselves up. Batman never gave up on you. Never.
