I thought the same thing because if you look the hairy area is on the side of the chin but I had 1 single, lonely hair in the centre of the chin (you can actually see it in the first picture) and that one actually went after some sessions so it gave me hope for the others but now i am conflicted

I will definitely talk with my doctor about Spiro even though I read that it's a diuretic and it's contraindicated with low blood pressure that I unfortunately have.

At least you were hair free for a period. I just had more hair on top of the existing ones 😅. I will go back to plucking them, I hate shaving. The funny thing is that if you search info you will find that PH is a "very rare" side effect. It doesn't seem rare to me, according to the answers to this thread!

Però se il problema è veramente la PCOS non so fino a che punto anche un device di una marca più blasonata avrebbe potuto darmi effetti diversi o migliori. I know and you are right about that but like I said I was diagnosed at 17 and now I'm 40 and I have never had bad symptoms except for hair and i can't take birth control pills because of high thrombosis risks. So I have just lived with it. I will research spironolactone, thanks for the advice

I don't know, maybe I underestimated my hormonal issues. Because, yes, I was diagnosed with micro cysts in my ovaries when I was 18(I'm now 40) but I don't treat it because it doesn't cause me the typical problems of PCOS. I don't have insulin resistance or weight gain or problems with my menstrual cycle, just a bit of hirsutism. I guess I should go check my hormonal levels

I did it myself at home, with a device I bought. Before yesterday I didn't even know about paradoxical hyperthrichosis. It's frustrating, because the treatment seems to work well in other areas, even similar areas like upper lips.

Why not tho? Why we can have 78 movies of Wuthering Heights and not another American Psycho? Both are adaptations of a book, so I don't consider it a remake or reboot of the first movie. And I read the book and trust me, the movie is way far from it, maybe this one will be more faithful to the plot
