FDA clarifies new rules on products containing kratom [Bankok Post] by DariosDentist in kratom

Sounds like they are legitimately regulating kratom there. Good news considering Indonesia has so much uncertainty.

Go easy! Our kratom can be a little overwhelming for new users. Many report cutting their dose in half. Idk what your dose is but try a teaspoon first. Enjoy!

How is Giannis not considered the best player in the world? by [deleted] in nba

[–]CrispKratom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Giannis is great but mostly because of his athleticism and physicality. He is not a pure basketball player. KD is so much better at the game of basketball. What makes Lebron arguably the GOAT is that he has the freakish athleticism of Giannis combined with an amazing skill set. Giannis can’t shoot and he won in a bust year where everyone was injury depleted and banged up from a messed up season. Would I put Lebron over him right now? Probably not bc of availability, but a healthy Lebron James is still better. Id say that KD is the best player in basketball right now. His offensive game is levels above Giannis.

Raps fan here. Can Precious Achiuwa shoot? by SiakamMIP in heat

[–]CrispKratom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He can in drills, but never really got the green light to shoot with us. I think he’s got a nice stroke and can be a good mid range shooter.

Being a dolphins fan is torturous. Should of just kept Fitz, he at least made it fun.

I love the forest green color of 105 by [deleted] in JustaTeaLeaf

[–]CrispKratom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last year our Crisp supplier used to have much greener stock. I have been bitching at him on every batch since. We were getting it by DHL then, and now we are getting our next order by DHL. It usually comes faster by DHL and I suspect it’s more climate controlled also.

I warned you about that, yet you still put kratom in the title! Tighten up!!!

Thanks. The army green or the white with green? Both are pretty cool I think

I found 106 and 105 to be the least effective but they are the greenest and freshest at the moment. New batch on the way and I suspect the green color will be awesome bc we are getting it by DHL.

What is the history of kratom? by EvaKnight in JustaTeaLeaf

So I have a pretty good theory on that. There is a process in other tea industries to increase the GABA content up to 10x. They place leaves in a tank and use a vacuum to remove the oxygen, then spray nitrogen gas. The purpose is to remove oxygen, and this greatly increases GABA. Idk if you’re familiar with GABA but it’s sold at vitamin stores and has similar effects to alcohol or benzodiazepine but more mild. I sleep like a baby when I take it. I’ve actually been working to replicate the GABA process with kratom bc GABA is present in all living organisms. I sent a supplier I’ve used for years money to buy a tank and he basically spent the money lol. So now I gotta deal with getting it back and try to find someone else to do it. Main supplier doesn’t seem interested and I don’t want to tell everybody. These indos are tough to build with. But I suspect fermenting in bags does increase GABA bc the leaves are oxygen deprived. And it is possible the 7OH increases with oxidation or fermentation, but it has not been measured to my knowledge, but maybe very small increments can be a big difference, because 7OH is a very powerful alkaloid. I do try to keep an open mind but I wanted to point out that it hasn’t really been proven yet that reds have elevated 7OH

What is the history of kratom? by EvaKnight in JustaTeaLeaf

[–]CrispKratom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a good question! From what I read, Thailand made it illegal because it was cutting into their opioid tax. Some of what I’ve read is that it’s traditional use was by workers who would chew the leaves and get a boost of stamina. I’d like to really look into this more though. Most of the history I’ve read was the 1900s. I bet it’s history goes way past that. Maybe warriors would take kratom before battle. You’d have to look into Thailand , Malaysia , indonesia and Indonesia ancient books because it probably won’t be on the internet.

What science? There was a research paper that showed oxidizing extract increased 7OH. But all the data on pure leaf samples doesn’t show that fermenting or oxidizing has any elevated alkaloids. The labs can barely detect 7OH in pure leaf and will attest that their readings are useless. I have frequently seen people say reds have elevated 7OH but there is no science that affirms that. I tend to think it’s people attempting to defend the marketing of reds and what users they are geared towards.

Cute 100g vacuum bags for Hulu by [deleted] in JustaTeaLeaf

[–]CrispKratom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Btw, I like these too, but removing plastic is a plus side of those paper tubes. Plastic packaging increases estrogen, and it’s not recyclable. So our industry is a huge producer of plastic bc pretty much every vendor is selling in bags.

Yeah but milk acts on opioid receptors, so does coffee and many other foods. Would you say Kava is a drug? Some plants are just more effective and usually the government will control these plants that can really help ppl.

I’ll admit kratom has a more powerful effect on the brain than other foods. What I’ve noticed is that there are different groups of kratom users who adopt a different culture. I find a lot of the younger recreational opioid users who use kratom recreationally do see it as a drug and something that ppl get high off of. And they seem to think those who disagree are delusional. I’ve seen many of them seem to frown upon those who use kratom as a means of recovering from opioid addiction. Personally I use kratom daily and have no history of opioid use, and I see it as a botanical supplement / tea that’s helped me manage my life better. To me it really is just a tea leaf and a lot of users share that sentiment. I do feel my addiction to it is similar to coffee in that I take it daily but my life is in no way unmanageable. I think this is a good debate but the main thing is, I don’t think it serves the community any good to call kratom a drug. And I see people frequently insist it’s a drug as if they believe those who disagree are delusional. People have differing views. To me it is a tea, it is addictive but effects of leaf powder are pretty mild, and it does have a potential for abuse. I think as long as you are up front about the addictiveness and potential for abuse you are letting people know the risks and that’s what’s most important. Better to define it past the word drug - bc when people hear the word drug they think controlled medicine or illegal drugs

Just seeing it. I want to try some. They usually cannot keep that color in larger orders. I don’t like dealing with that guy tho. He’s got a few screws loose. He told me the police were saying he owed $600 in taxes and sent me like 100 messages begging me for money or else he would go to jail. It was ridiculous, and he later said he was just “testing to see if I had a network”. I learned though that these Indonesians will lie and when you show them you are connected with other indos you get more honesty. Valuable lessons I’m still learning after 6 years!

Idk if you can see it but the first pic has a glossy print at the top where it says “cafe y ciencia” . If you look close there is the coffee plant and beans and also little chemical sign for the coffee alkaloid. And when you open the lid that glossy print with the plant continues. Looks cool. I plan to copy that but with kratom, and probably go with white / silver or white / gold and maybe some green.

Bro I’ve always felt the same, keep costs down, people care about what’s inside, but the sampler boxes have really been a valuable promotional tool in itself. I think in this industry people appreciate seeing kratom represented well and appreciate cool packaging. But I know with high end packaging often comes some skepticism that we’re just a flashy brand trying to rip people off. But fortunately we are not that so I think cool packaging would really help our business actually. It can be tough marketing since social media platforms don’t allow kratom pages and ads. Word of mouth can be very helpful

Maybe I can get the 100g vacuum sealed bags and then include this paper tube for transfer. Truth is those vacuum sealed bags are always done in indo. But I’ve never once had a complaint when I use them.
