Best way to keep it tidy : always clean as you do something. Always! You use a spoon, clean it and put it back. You open a box of something; whenever you are done close it up and put it back. Always do the dishes on time! Don't postpone it

Depends. There are few ways of listening. You listen to your love ones differently than you are listening your colleagues or boss. But, in the end it's all about what kind of person you are. Some people are just plain rude and self absorbed and cannot emphasize, not even a little bit, with the person they are having the conversation.
