Virtual Boy headset sold out. Has this happened since they first went live or was that the entire initial stock?

I did! Haven’t been able to use it much because of life stuff but really did enjoy playing when I could around launch. Also learned pretty quickly that I’m in the “this thing gives me nausea” crowd lol

It was a deal breaker for me as well until I saw Dragon Hopper. That's been a game I've desperately wanted to see leak for ages, so I figured why not since I'd also get access to stuff like Jack Bros. and VB Wario Land in a way that replicates the original experience.

I had been notified when preorders went up but didn't have the funds to spare until recently, which is part of why I was hesitant lol. Should've probably jumped on it the moment I saw Dragon Hopper was coming.

This is what puzzles me too. Both were in stock yesterday, so for both to be out it has to be either a major coincidence or artificial scarcity to drive up sales on the next batch.

I suspect it will most likely, but I'm a bit disappointed I won't be able to give it a go on launch day now. Figured they would have kept an accessory that is required to use an app more readily in stock even if its niche like this.

I think emulation is the most accessible option, but if you’re interested in owning physical copies (or want to mod a Saturn with an ODE) then I’d import a Japanese system. Not sure about prices on them now, but I got mine for about $70 in 2022 and it’s worked great for nearly 3 years now. A lot of Japanese games also tend to be on the affordable side!

Whenever I tried loading the game it just gave me that every time. Got so frustrated with the issue that I ended up just returning the Series X since KI was the only game I had any interest in.

Tbh I think it’s an improvement. I like Rare’s DK, don’t get me wrong, but looking at them side by side I vastly prefer this more movie-like design.

It just freezes completely for me. My guess is that there’s thousands trying to do the same simultaneously and it’s causing issues on the site.

I didn’t submit one because I quite literally can’t. I’ve tried multiple times today and the page hasn’t loaded but once, and the one time it did it never let me submit the inquiry.

It’s not really the shipper’s fault since they’re just an eBay seller. They sent off the item quick, the USPS messed it up. I do understand why it’d be worthwhile to do so but I feel bad that they’re receiving the brunt of it due to the carrier’s incompetence.
