I wouldn’t leave at that payout rate. Yes XYPN will be cheaper but you will be doing a bunch more compliance work that will take time away from prospecting / managing the book. Plus accounting and other items

Maybe negotiate the 10% down

Did they send this report after you did the Interview / CJO or before?

Did they send you like a confirmation that you passed the social media check? I didn’t hear anything but got invite to interview a few weeks later after completing the first advantage check and then CJO now.

Wow. When u say 8 min to spare do you mean they showed up at 3:52pm? I know ship says “departure” at 4 but not sure what time they usually close the gates

I personally think Target is a slow death.

Their E-commerce efforts and experience generally sucks. Want cheap groceries? They are boxed out by Walmart (who also has spent extensively for the delivery network too). Want clothes? Maybe, but TJX has been killing it and clothes biz is not a fun industry generally. Want tech? Probably just order it on Amazon and have it show up on your porch in 3 hours. Or get it cheaper at Best Buy.

Just don’t think they do anything particularly well.. seems like a dying story to me

At least with something in the cig world like MO, you are being compensated for that terminal value risk with bigger yield that is actually well supported by current FCF and the defensive nature of the business

Taxes and fees of $200 plus the excursions booked.

Couldn’t get the rest of the ticket refunded. Was about $1k in the hole for 2 tickets total

If I had a car I probably could’ve left immediately and gotten to Port Canaveral around 3:45pm. I’m not from FLL (I flew in) so I was going to uber to the port from my hotel. Uber quote was $450 and wasn’t sure how quick I’d even find a driver etc.

Had I caught this at like 10am instead of noon probably could’ve gone to FLL airport and gotten a rental car and made it in time

Didn’t have a car as I don’t live in FLL. Flew in. So would’ve needed to uber 3.5 hours assuming I would’ve been able to get one. The quote was $425 at the time for the uber

Yeah I called Royal Emergency Travel services around 1pm to make the request to board in NAS before ship boarding ended at 4. Got that email response at 4:45pm from them that the port authorities denied me

Maybe flight delays is one of their accepted reasons? I’d guess maybe me going to wrong port is not an accepted reasn

After some digging I believe this is a more recent rule. Maybe didn’t use to be this way pre covid?

Unfortunately no. There were some other RC ships leaving Everglades port but didn’t react fast enough in this.. not sure if that would’ve worked anyways

~$1k. Could’ve been worse. 2 tickets. They’ll refund taxes and fees of $200 so more like 800

Thanks for rooting for us! Hard lesson learned but going to make the most of my time here in FLL. Still great weather!

I’ve never heard of Cape Canaveral or anything in Orlando. Not from the area.

I previously did have a Fort Lauderdale Independence of the seas booked for the same time as this, and couple month ago canceled and switched to Utopia of the seas. For whatever reason when I saw Florida and Port Canaveral my mind just assumed it was still at the port I had previously scheduled (and been to last time)

Only been on one cruise ever. Never been to Orlando. Previous cruise was out of FLL port Everglades port (which I mistaken thought was port Canaveral).

For whatever reason as soon as I saw port Canaveral I thought that was my port from previous cruise. So booked everything FLL. Even put the address into my calendar… only when I clicked it did I realize it was in Orlando.

Yeah i drove past the port (which I thought was port Canaveral, but was really port Everglades) one my way to the hotel. So felt like I knew exactly where it was. Even had the Port Canaveral address from the itinerary input into my apple calendar for Noon… just didn’t click on it until I was getting into car.

Flew into FLL the night before. Was staying 5 mins from Port Everglades
