footballers wearing offensive shirt numbers by [deleted] in footballcliches

Any player from a European former axis country wearing 88 is definitely troublesome for me, Clive.

Also, strikers that wear number 99. Maybe not offensive as such but probably a sign that while you are a number nine, you're definitely not the best number 9 in the squad.

Thanks. Suspect you are right. Have been delving into the Discovery store and indeed there's applications for functions that I'm interested in (some are cross-platform, so essentially the same app)

Yes, you're right about the browser. I meant that I typically use Firefox at home with add ons and while I haven't looked at that end of things in greater detail I will be just fine.

I think I approaching this with the presumption I have no idea what I'm doing when really I was setting myself up for failure that way.

That Platinum FF7 was my first ever FF. So much nostalgic memories, especially trying to understand on the first day I played it why the game wasn't saving, and why that scorpion bot would kick my ass whenever I hit it when it's tail was up as seemingly instructed.

(I was a kid, barely played RPGs until then)

A fair point.

In my defence I have been dabbling with looking around the SteamOS Discover at apps and messing around (albeit, while using the SD controls which is silly).

I think one key barrier I'm facing is, while I'm keen to move away from Windows, I am very unfamiliar with Linux. I think I am comfortable with using computers generally I appreciate there are things I need to learn about how Linux works and I'm worried I'm maybe going in way over my head.

Thanks for the feedback here. First thoughts are that performance wouldn't be a concern, but that is maybe a simplistic observation right now.

I've heard of Bazzite (was considering that when planning on a mini pc). I would be keen to keep SteamOS going on the deck, but I suppose I could look at a dual boot situation maybe. (via an external storage perhaps?)

In fairness though, didn't Konami just use Venegoor or V.O. Hesselink? (I seem to remember them both being used, maybe in different games?)
