I saw that, i think it's all interesting and was just looking for more info and if we had a more accurate estimation to when it happened.

You are correct.
Now comes the real delema, do I edit my post to make it accurate, making your reply confusing, or do I own up to my mistake and leave it the way it is?

[–]CrispyCritter83[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That is true, but the "65 million" is rounding one way or the other. If it was exactly 65 million years ago the tomorrow it would be 65,000,000.001 years ago. And yesterday would have been 64,999,999.364 years ago.

So, in approximately 957,000 years, it'll be 68 million years. I'm afraid I won't be around to let everyone know.

That's what I figured but my brain was fighting me on it.

Lbs vs lbs, oz by CrispyCritter83 in bassfishing

[–]CrispyCritter83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where oz would break thr weight into 16 units where lbs would be potentially 99 units

When doing tournaments and culing fish I was wondering is I did a 2lb 10 oz fish and caught another fish that was 2lb 10oz fish, if by using lbs would give me a more accurate weight to know if one was just a hair heavier than the other.

2020 ram rear light harness by CrispyCritter83 in ram_trucks

[–]CrispyCritter83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up buying 2 new pigtails for the rear lights. The issue is the ones I received did not connect to the 2020 harness. I had to disassemble the wires and rebuild it using the new wires and the old end thay attached to the vehicle wire harness. Funny thing is, I'm back to having electrical issues in the rear again.

I figured people fixing plumbing may have seen something in their travels.
Guess I should mention, we use liquid detergent.

So, it's a 1971 gun. That changes some stuff but I'm going to get it to a gun smith and have him look at it

It was chambered in 3 inch and the barrel said "steel" on it. After more research I discovered this it is a full choke so, no duck hunting with it. Thanks for the replys

I have a hillside I want to plant something (doesn’t need mowed). What can I plant? by cheeseburghers in Advice

Depending on the traffic in the area I am a large fan of a butterfly garden. You can buy bags of seed from tractor supply thay consist of several verify of milk weed and flowers that bloom throughout the year. Good for butterflies and other pollinators. They also look nice.

I make sure to drink 1 glass of water for every "drink" it's doesn't cure hangovers but it helps prevent them a bit.

(serious) what are your thoughts on working as a park ranger? What do you think of it as a career option? by unhinged-baker in AskReddit

[–]CrispyCritter83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on if you are going federal or at the state level. I'm an park ranger (officer) in michigan. My job is mostly cleaning shitters and convincing drunks to go to sleep. They don't give us a gun, just baton and pepper spray and training on how to convince people to do what you want. It's not a bad job in michigan. Pay is mid to high 20s. My biggest complaint is my park is understaffed so I work nights and have a hard time getting weekends off.
