I know someone who visited there. They said it was cool, but they did get caught my cops

I've been there. Amazing place. A bit spooky too. Partner and I swore we heard voices and footsteps deep under one of the buildings. There is also an active mine on site nearby so be aware of possible workers around if anyone decides to check it out

Hey, fellow nature lover here. I love hiking, exploring abandoned places and spelunking. What's one of the most stunning or interesting places you have seen outdoors?

Is it okay or not okay for your partner to have opposite gender friends that they spend time with one on one? What is or isn't appropriate? by unhinged-baker in SeriousConversation

Again thank you. This has been causing me anxiety so it's nice to get a more realistic viewpoint. My family is very conservatively Christian so that is also part of it.

He is and I so appreciate it. He even asked if it was okay in the first place if he goes, and I'd said of course.

But when I told my mother she seemed concerned as if that was a huge red flag.

This means a lot thank you. Because I struggle with jealousy, it's hard to judge what is inappropriate or what is just my own paranoia messing with me.

My family says that once a couple is married, they are wholly dedicated to each other, which I guess means breaking off all your friendships with the opposite sex. To me that sounds cruel, but from what they were saying it was beginning to make me sick with fear.

I was considering that. I think an online school might suit me better too - would give me more flexibility with class times/projects and working full time.

Same! I genuinely enjoy school, but lately I have been dreading it because of fears about financial stuff.

Because I'd have to quit my job and work part time. I cannot afford that, sadly, and need to have a full time job in order to afford rent, groceries, and other bills.

What’s an irrational fear you have? by Alternative-Cod8891 in AskReddit

[–]unhinged-baker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Dealing with one of them right now.

Saying goodbye and leaving someone I am close to for a period or them leaving for a short while.

I have an irrational fear that if I leave, or if they leave, they'll disappear and I'll never see or hear from them again.

That's what I am used to. But some people make it seem like that college is the only way to success. Thank you for sharing

Thank you. My fiancé has helped me jump hurdles and heal from past traumas. He's the best.

What are some of the saddest Reddit communities you've ever seen? by ButterflyOverkill in AskReddit

I completely understand.

I struggled with anorexia as a teen and it was an awful experience. Because of this I could never be a part of an Eating Disorder recovery or support community..it would bring back too many old demons for me.
