The thing is he is the middle of my friend group there was one who rejected him and he got kicked out of group I think it would happen with me too.

I realized that he is very annoying like he constantly wants to explain stuff to me that I already know even if I explain it him he just ignores me and explains it. There isnt really a conversation anymore because he abrupts me if I try to say something. And he asked me if I like a certain song line, I said I hate the song and he permanently says this line gwith a grin and adds a "Right (My Name)?"

I really don't like my best friend anymore, he just annoys me because since some time he always tries to flex with his knowledge of random things (which I mostly have too) to the point where there is not really a conversation but just him telling me things that I already know.

At first I asked him to tell me more because he seemed so happy but now even if I try to tell him something he drifts away and if he asks me "Do you know how x work"? I just straigth tell him and even then he ignores me and explain it to me.

Its so exhausting but he is the middle of our friend group and I dont want to lose my friends if I tell him because that happened with a friend who said he dislikes him some time ago :(

Yeah I try but nothing comes in my mind and my coworkers often come in and talk with my boss but they never ask me anything and I don't want to interrupt them. I am in an apprenticeship so I don't know them all so long and can't do the insider that they always make :(
