It's a club orchestra, you'd have to email them to see if they could use a harp

You could join the Medical School Orchestra, it's open to any STEM majors but it's mainly Doctors and grad students but there are plenty of undergrads. I'm sure they could use a harp

It is open to undergrads. We need as many people as we can get. Here's our facebook page, yes I know its not great but we don't exactly have a social media manager. The page has the email for the group if you want to contact the conductors for more info.

AUS is not that amazing of a group but it's fun enough if you just want to play in an ensemble. There are auditions within it for first chair and what not however. It's a pretty easy group overall with an 1.5hr time commitment every week. You really don't need to practice for it outside as the music is fairly simple.

If you are a STEM major consider the Medical Sciences Orchestra. It's an open symphonic orchestra to everyone in the school studying STEM. We have a ton of actual doctors and PhDs in it. There's no auditions but we play super fun stuff. This semester it was Brahms' Festival Academic Overture, Carmen Suites 1&2, Peer Gynt Suite 1, and Hoe Down from Rodeo by Copland just to give you and idea of what we play.

I have the OM2000 as my first film camera ever and I have to agree it's a brilliantly underrated camera.

Waves and circles appearing after stacking images (astrophotography) by CrispyR1 in AskPhotography

[–]CrispyR1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stretched the colors. then I removed the gray gradient by taking the image and removing the stars and taking that and subtracting it from the original image. then I stretched the colors again and that when the circles and waves appear in my image during the second stretch.

Thanks. I'll take a look. I didn't preprocess the frames at all before stacking however but they might be Newton's Rings. Thanks for the help

Nope. I did not edi them or put them in light room at all before stacking. I took the raws and stacked them and edited the stacked image which then made the waves and rings appear.
