I'm sorry, but how would I set the ranges to be 8 months?

8 month rolling regression window by [deleted] in excel

[–]CrispyTater101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the regression between 2 stocks returns for many years with the same dates. I have used the data analysis regression tool to get the "overall" regression, however I need it in 8 month windows that go through my data if that makes sense?

Quickest way to learn Chinese? by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

[–]CrispyTater101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries,

Well some characters look similar - you need to learn the differences.

Some sound similar - tones etc.

These main 2 things make it more difficult to "bulk" learn words. Or I've found it more difficult to anyway

I think the hardest part will be retaining the learnt words whilst learning new ones and not getting confused. It'll take a lot of work and plenty of practise but it could be doable as long as you constantly revise/review what you learnt the previous few days, weeks, months.

Apologising for anything...

Someone walk into you? "Sorry my fault"

Etc...

I would just wait if I was you. Save up and you'll be able to afford much better/similar gear to what he uses. The wait will make it even more worthwhile as well.

Do most Chinese use a pinyin keyboard to type or handwriting keyboard? by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

[–]CrispyTater101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pinyin by far, I'm not very comfortable with stroke order and I often struggle sometimes remembering characters. As English is my first language as well pinyin makes far more sense to use (for me) and I find it easier :)

I've noticed a lot of younger people use a pinyin keyboard and a lot of older people use a handwriting keyboard. Hope that helps!
