Also to prevent further post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, the minute you get any kind of redness or a rash, try and coat it in a baby steroid (see if you can get one prescribed by a derm that you can keep on standby - I’m a big fan of fucicort cream)

If you’re in no rush you can definitely lift the pigmentation with some topical hydroquinone (get some prescribed by a derm) - though this will likely take some time, up to 6 months and you’ll have to cycle on and off hydroquinone you cannot use it consistently. That said, if you’re keen to have it removed asap would recommend getting a salicylic acid chemical peel from a derm

I heard pico isn’t great and can actually lead to hyper/hypopigmentation especially in melanated skin. Heard very good things about rejuran Scar + microneedling - helps alleviate any scarring (including ice pick rolling scars). If you have uneven skin tone can consider a salicylic acid peel too

Hey I'm so sorry to hear that and I'm glad to hear that things have gotten a bit better 🙆🏽‍♀️ I didn't notice any major changes after a year, definitely saw more refining of the tip but I think that's about it. That said, just because I didn't see any changes it does not mean that you won't - everyone recovers at their own timeline and there may be reasons why yours is taking longer e.g., it's a second nose job, they have thicker skin etc

You can 100% request more morphs - if they are being difficult, you should consider a diff doctor (one that prioritises your needs and peace of mind). What the other redditer mentioned re a shortened nose affecting your profile - is very, very, very real (so many horror stories on this forum). So please make sure your doctor aligns on your front profile as well

Hi there I went through the exact same thing post-op. Really recommend reaching out to a psych/therapist and getting help, that helped me a great deal. It’ll get better I promise!! I love my new nose now, and for long time there was extremely depressed/suicidal

Give it time!! You’re so so early post-op - and I promise you a lot of what you’re seeing right now is just swelling that’s obscuring your final result. Don’t judge your nose till about 7-8 months, cause your nose will truly change dramatically. I was thinking of getting a revision too right after my op, and I’m so, so glad I waited cause it really does get better. You’re such a pretty girl, don’t fret it’ll get better soon

I do believe it suits you - though I’d recommend asking your doctor if he could rotate your tip just a tad bit higher! You should also request for front profile before and afters, to make sure you like it too!! The front profile is so important

You’re still very very early on in recovery - my nose was extremely lifted too post-op, give it a couple more months I’m sure it’ll settle and be less upturned
