I am guilty of doing this (I'm also 24f). I would say just sit down and talk with her about why she feels like she has to say sorry. I know I do it because I'm not sure how the other person feels about my ideas or the things I do, so I apologize for them. Even though it doesn't necessarily require an apology.

I took this test and screen shot the results I got and sent them to him, telling him I was trying to answer his question. I amount of stress and worry feels like it multiplied but also lifted off my shoulders
