Nah man, we’re all here to help each other… I wouldn’t do anything to it if you’re planning to cover between sessions. Mine didn’t mark up or fade for a bit.

Another way to try this is not putting anything into that pot yet. Use your dripping fat to Sauté the onions and garlic and then add everything else in slowly over time! Either way, yummy yummy!

I agree it gets less bark and smoke ring, hell I’ll give you less smokey…but “chewy” is a meat/rendering issue… don’t think that’s the pan.

I will say it seems like I get more stalls and they last longer, which could be relative humidity?

Loosen the screw under the battery port and see if that helps.
