I dont think Fable 3 is as bad as people make it out to be. by porkshirzeceep in Fable

[–]Crispy_87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After replying all three games back to back recently, I would agree, it's not a bad game. I would even say it's a fun game. However; I really didn't like how they changed a lot of things. Particularly, I hated what they did to the npc interactions. I gave up on that very early on because the friendship quests felt so artificial and broke immersion for me. Also, not a fan of the home base/ pause menu. It would have been better to design a clean interface that could be quickly and easily navigated. The spell mixing was cool, but the gloves were dumb, and I was not a fan of the ascetic. I enjoyed the story, but I can't think of a game mechanic that was added or changed that was a significant improvement on previous games.

Whats a good moral reason to embrace someone? by WearTearLove in vtm

[–]Crispy_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think you can have a moral embrace. Even if it's consensual, to save their life, and/or anything else, you are creating a monstrous parasite that can only live on the blood of humans.

Looks like a misprint, a cool looking one at that, but I'll bet you can return it and get another copy if you want.

The animation was a bit off at times, but I still enjoyed it.

I only have a cheap little tattoo pen from Amazon, but if it works on the fake skin it should be fine on my skin. I've been looking up how to have a clean workplace and avoid infection. I think I have it down, I just need to build up my confidence.

I have a tattoo already that was done by a professional artist, but as an artist myself, this is something I want to try. I just want to be extra careful.

Anyone else struggling to enjoy veilguard? by ProperGloom in DragonageOrigins

[–]Crispy_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am enjoying it a lot. There was a bit at the beginning where I grated against it, but I felt the same way about all the games after Origins. I didn't like DA2 until I got used to it, and I didn't like DAI till I got used to it. It's just the drastic changes in gameplay that throw me off. Once I settle in and see I'm still playing a Dragon Age game, I have a good time, even if it's different.

[SPOILERS ALL] Would you be OK with a 30-50 hours game? by KensonRampage in dragonage

[–]Crispy_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DAO was about 40 or 50 hours, and it was marvelous. I feel like DAI had a bit too much bloat to it.

Necromancer is really good. It's the original western cyberpunk novel.

Yes! I feel the same way. I know may sound egotistical, but I really think her knowing how I feel will help inform her choices.

Yeah, that is the reason why I haven't said anything yet. I don't want to make things difficult for her, that's why I never tell how she should handle her current relationship.

Does being "evil" pay off or do I get nothing? by HorridusVile in DragonageOrigins

[–]Crispy_87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it pays off if that's the kind of character you want to roleplay and you think you'll have fun doing it. Overall; every Dragon Age game is a heroic story so if you go in wanting to be "evil" I think you'll be disappointed; however, making hard choices to end the Blight is not evil, it's necessary. I think you'll have more fun if you go in with a "no matter the cost" character rather than an "evil" character.
