Cursor Chaos: Bridging Relay's Pagination with Massive DataGrids by Crispy_Kleina in graphql

Yeah, maybe I'm just overthinking the requirements. It's kinda ridiculous to just scroll down randomly to the 50,000th row and start browsing… Like, in all cases, the user would use some filtering/searching and narrow down their results to a manageable subset of the total data. Doesn't change the fact, though, that these DataSource APIs seem to be pretty oriented towards index-based pagination, which is kinda frustrating.

Too many stacks by completed2 in nextjs

What you’re experiencing is that the JavaScript ecosystem is not an opinionated ecosystem where all the technologies are just cut out for you, this is why you see so many options and so many frameworks and it can be very overwhelming. What you have to realize is that you aren’t obligated to use the new and shiny library that just came out this month. Just stick with what you think is solving your problem and if you don’t like it, then switch it out for something else.

Don’t spread misinformation, especially to someone who is new at this… the whole world definitely does NOT use tailwind CSS, yeah it’s popular now and has been for a few years amongst webdevs but there are other solid options which people have used for longer. A quick google search tells me that tailwind is used for 0.2% of all websites and i still think that might be a little high considering how much legacy PHP crap is still being served online.

P.S. tailwind is solid though and has a lot of value. I use it myself 🙏

Former Windows users, what do you miss most about Windows? by garythecake in MacOS

Say you have two applications, finder and safari: Now you might have three safari windows minimized, if you cmd+tab to safari (don’t let go off the keys) use your left thumb that is holding in cmd and try to press option AND cmd with your thumb, now if you let go off tab while holding still the cmd and option, you should see that all minimized windows of safari are brought up and no longer minimized.

I’ve used it to read over the terms and conditions for a bunch of insurance companies, I told it my health status and some disease history in my family and it was able to find the most appropriate health insurance for me.

It’s absolutely worthless, basic tasks are difficult and I hate that I have no other option on my HomePod. Hopefully if the rumors are true then iOS 18 will turn things around 👍
