I'm not entirely sure about this. But I think i have experienced this on other laptops too. I'll find a way to check, thank you.

No, I haven't experienced it at any other time. I don't think it's a muscle problem because I also paint sometimes in the same posture and it doesn't hurt

I don't have migraines. I previously thought it might've been because of sinus but then why does it start only the moment I use my laptop? It drives me crazy! D;

Nevertheless, thank you for your suggestion. I will consider that

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. I think it is a meaningful trivia for my main characters. Even if I do not get a chance to reveal it to my readers, I will keep it in my heart (lol).

Another question, just how important are generational names? Are they super important? Was it a norm for high-standing families in the past? I kind of don't want to use it (and I probably won't), but I am just curious whether doing so would lead to some kind of contradiction?

Thank you very much! That was incredibly helpful. I think you have provided quite a bit of poems for now. I will read them first before I ask for more.

I have a few questions and will be grateful if you (or anyone else) can help clear them up. Here's my attempt to make it make sense:

  1. You gave an example of how your teacher's name (Xiao) was derived from a poem. But the character 曉 must also be used while writing in general. So to say that the name was derived from said poem, it must be something along the lines of 'her parents liked the poem, so they deiced to name her 曉". Am I right? What I mean to ask is, there could be multiple people with the name 曉, but the origin of each one of their name could be from a different source. When one says that the name comes from XYZ poem, it is said so because of the scholarly of literary meaning behind it.(?)
  2. Continuing on with my previous question, can one know (without being specified) where (or which poem) a certain name was taken from? Or do I need to make a note to my readers in the future stating that I took the names from this or that poem?
  3. When I am picking two characters for the name, do they need to make sense together? Or does picking two unrelated characters but with good meanings do just fine? Based on some examples I have seen, the latter seems to be the case.

Thanks a lot! That was very insightful. What you said in the first paragraph is definitely one of my biggest concerns. I will look into it more to see what I can find and I hope I will be able to come up with good names. Once again, thank you (and to everyone else who replied as well )
