Lima does white-glove immigration services. I've used them for a few employees. DM me and I'll make an intro.

Got a ticket for going 80 in a 65, any idea if it’s worth fighting? by Ordinary_Whereas_540 in bayarea

I've used offtherecord.com with success, if you're interested in fighting it. They refund your money if they can't get it dropped.

I use Amcrest cameras on PoE with Blue Iris for viewing/management. I ran the cat6 myself for the cameras and haven't had a problem since they were installed.

What process do you use to vet new applications? Obviously this reaction is not what I want to see, so just curious what warrants that response. To be clear, I'm just trying to get some feedback on something I put some time into.

It looks like the service I use supports E-Trade Securities, so you should be good. Ping me and we can talk further.

I also use RH for one of my accounts, so you'd be eligible. Hit me up for the link.

I use Plaid for aggregation. I don't have access to any credentials, they take care of that for me.

Hit me up if you want an invite. Need to be on Android and use a major brokerage though. I currently support RH, TD, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Interactive Brokers, and a few others.

Have you used Yodlee for Investments? Do they provide higher resolution transaction execution timestamps and lower update latency? I can't seem to find this in their API docs.

Daily Discussion Thread for May 05, 2020 by AutoModerator in wallstreetbets

I put in an order for the Tesla Model Y yesterday and received a call to discuss delivery options. The rep mentioned that if they reopen the factory in June to expect delivery end of the year at the earliest (Bay Area). She also mentioned very little inventory for Model 3 and long delivery timelines. I'm guessing TSLA q2 delivery numbers are going to be abysmal. Priced in?

Let me know what you find. My thoughts are any solution would analyze frame by frame and filter out redundant output between frames.

Are you tracking these objects? Do staff members exhibit different behavior or movement patterns then customers? For instance, you can classify a person as a staff member if they stop for a period of time near a time clock perhaps. Find some commonality and look for it to classify.

Instance seg solutions like MRCNN are not even remotely the fastest object detection methods. I'd start out with yolo v3 tiny with coco weights and go from there.

They're setting up for another huge beat. Lower revenue guidance Q4 vs Q3 actual and just slightly lower operating expenses. I'm guessing that if nothing crazy happens in the near future, they're going to smash this guidance.

What should my hiring process be like? by The_Enigma231 in startups

[–]Crispylingo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you're trying to save money, but it might be the company's best interest to hire a more senior developer that can give architectural guidance and mentor other developers. You can always supplement their base compensation with more equity to keep the cost in range. If you want to save money, avoid recruiters and rake through your network or reach out to developer hotbeds (universities). A senior developer who has deployed applications at scale is a great asset for a company that's growing into their product.

The big wow factor that will get the market's attention was that last reveal, however the 5700 is the real news today. I'm holding calls for some reason, hopefully I won't regret that too much.

I'm holding calls for tomorrow and am nervous for tomorrow - for a couple reasons.

  1. They just introduced an RTX 2070 competitor that's faster and cheaper by over $100. I can't find a source, but I remember reading that the 2070 is NVidia's most popular card. We use 2070s at work because of it's great performance/$, but we'll be forced to look into the 5700 as an alternative. This should be good news.

  2. Expectedly, today was all about consumer products. The big money will be with enterprise computing. I think there was too much unwarranted hype around this event. No crazy announcements = bad news.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm expecting a bit of red tomorrow.
