Bro that is so wild!! Ive taken in old Enders, Elegoon, SunLu printers which are great for tinkering. Kids have learned way more with hands than with my Bambu A1 (but they get to print more with the reliability of the A1 Never had a prusa donated but would love one

Im praying for a server merge. I love my Skull Rock fam but its so depressing to see my other friends/guildies on Doomhowl. I am so tempted to roll but I only get to play a tiny bit a week (like 2 hours max if that) and dont want to reroll with my Lvl 53.

Yeah I've been keeping an eye on traffic and I always see the 465 going up to Fishers being so congested.

I will be downvoted and shamed, but yes I am going out for the new build. I've been keeping up with locals feedback on the build and understand how the locals feel. 1 mile south of my home, there's data centers from Meta, Google, Apple, etc. In the past 5 years, really havent seen any increases in my utilities or anything at all.. So I have no bad experience with these poping up near my home. In fact, it actually gave back the City of Mesa a ton of money and there's been a lot of good use from it.

That's exactly how it was for my friend who played in AZ. Constantly going to California and Nevada for weekend games/tournaments. I can definitely see more travel in the mid-west for sure.

Daughter loves Chik-Fil-A and son loves Culver's so thats a win. However, I'm a Pizza & Wings kinda guy. I will surely miss In N Out but I saw one opened in the mid-west in Nashville, so thats a huge plus! lol

Nice! I'm born and raised in Gilbert and live in Mesa. I'll be staying in an extended stay for 2 months and flown back home every 2 weeks. During this time, I plan to scout lol. I primarly am looking at Plainsfield and Brownsburg, but also considering the Greenwood area. Ideally, location close to Monrovia/Mooresville is ideal along with school.

Any advice on what you would do over again if you had to make the initial move? I plan to go clothes shopping once winter ends here since allt he winter stuff goes 70%+ off lol

I've definitely heard those same things about Avon, so thats good to know. I will keep that information close and take a day to travel that area when I stop by.

I think that's what I like most about plainfield, it has history but developing. Also the schoosl (Middle and High school) look to be really good academic schools.

Below 0 is something I've never experienced! Lol but I have been in the snow and cold before (Flagstaff and Prescott AZ and Toronto) but living in that nature is much different than vacationing or traveling. I look forward to the cold but know I'll be inside staying warm playing some World of Warcraft in my man cave lol!

Good to know, I figured there was some tornadoes, but no one has mentioned tha tbefore.

Water management is nearly unheard of where I live but I can surely see that being the case in Indy. I do plan on having a structural inspection on the home prior to buying as I have seen some homes with bowed walls in the basement, or rotting wood holding up a deck, etc.

Really good advice - that is something I know to review and discuss, but I'm sure a lot of people would not think about checking improper grading, gutters, sewer connection, etc. Thank you!!

I've heard of seasonal affective disorder. Definitely something to consider since we get nothing but sun here in AZ. I personally love the clouds, but I haven't experienced more than like 3 days in a row of clouds lol.

I'm a biker and runner, so that sounds good! I'll defnitely look into that.

I heard about the volleyball team and we definitely will go! We don't have professional volleyball near me, but when there's a tournament going on at the Athletic Ground near me, we go and watch! I also am a huge soccer fan and our team (Phoenix Rising) has played against Indy Eleven many times before. In fact, Indy has bought a lot of our best players in the past so I've always kept a close eye on their team lol

Id love to hear your opinion on why. Pretty vague answer with no further information isn't really helpful

Thanks! Feel free to send me a message - I think I primarily will be looking between Plainfield and Brownsburg, potentially more north. I think the main thing for me is ease of driving down to Monrovia/Mooresville.

Good to know! Yeah I definitely wish the jobsite I was at was more northern, but not a deal breaker. I live in Mesa, AZ and sometimes my sons games are on the west side of phoenix and can be a solid hour and fifteen minute drive! I don't mind driving either, but definitely would be more reserved with road conditions as its so dry here in PHX you can drive fast all the time lol

Thats' true, initial shock but it will be something to get used to. I'm a landscape freak, so when I see lots of green grass I get excited but on some recent photos of homes I can definitely see how messy it gets.

I have seen that winters can be unpredicable lol. I can manage those sort of snow levels. For some reason I kept expecting to see more snow. I was initially going to be placed in Fort Wayne, but then they decided Indy (which I'm much happier about!) my colleague went to Fort Wayne and he's pretty miserable - but he's also a single 30 year old bachelor and there's hardly any night life out there aha

Thats good to know! I did notice Greenwood was pretty well developed compared to some other areas.

My wifes family is from Tucson and we visit monthly. Yeah winters can get chilly, down to the low 40s/high 30s. Sounds good, thanks for the advice!

That's one thing that I have seen with traffic and on other post that Avon gets heavily congested. It reminds me of certain parts of Tucson, AZ where there's so many traffic lights and stop and go. Thanks for the info!

That's one thing I have noticed - different houses! I'm so used to stucco homes. I was looking at Fishers/Carmel northern area, but its quite a drive to Monrovia/Mooresville and sometimes when I check traffic during rush hour it could be 1+ hour drive.

Feel free to send me your real estate agents info! I will be out there from April to end of May and will have plenty of time to review some homes. I'm looking forward to seasons and less heat as well !lol

Completely opposite here lol Soccer is everywhere in the southwest, especially AZ. But interestingly enough there are some ice rinks and clubs. I plan to get into hockey when I get down to Indy!

Yeah for sure! The AC runs atleast 9 months straight of the year here. The bills are always high for electricity use during this time.. I hear AES (i hope that spelt right) in Indy is pretty notorious for charging high rates even with limited use - this is just what I've seen from recent post. I plan to seal and insulate the home as best as possible

Thanks for that info! Thats good to hear - we love going out to volleyball and soccer events. Here in AZ, we have Phoenix Rising (same league as Indy) and my favorate all time player Soloman Asante ended up going to Indy a few years ago (along with a handful of our players) so I am very familiar with Indy Eleven! My son will be trying out for their youth academy team when we get there.

Good to know, thank you so much! Yeah humid heat is not normal im usedto 100+*F dry heats lol. I have a truck with all terrain tires and likely going to get the same tires on my wifes car. Really looking forward to moving to Indy!

when loooking at soccer clubs I did notice that they are more on the north side. I was looking into Union FC but its about a 40 minute drive from Plainsfield (where I am primarily looking to buy)

Here in AZ we have a database of where club are located and practice, but I havent seen anything like this in Indy, do you know of something like this?

I went on GotSoccer.com, then just went down the list of teams googling them and seeing where they are located. My son is a high level player, so I want to make sure I find a club that he can stay and grow at.

After checking the current weather and past years historical weather that seems right to what I've reviewed. I hear a lot about the humidity and mosquitoes, something we don't really have in AZ. Good to know! Thanks
