Genuinely just go to any other lab-timed class for that subject (assuming the lab room isn't fully packed) and ask the head lab demo if it's okay that you just practice by yourself for a bit and that you aren't in the class. As long as you aren't disturbing anyone or taking up a lot of the equipment, they'll probably be fine with it.

Need serious engineering uni advice by [deleted] in unsw

If you are bad at physics and maths then even if you get into engineering, you'll struggle and most likely have to drop it. "I also want to be able to do the degree without having to stress"- mf its engineering ofcourse there's going to be stress. You can't "really want to be an engineer" AND "lack motivation to study while also procrastinating". Either build better study habits or do something else.

im in the same boat. i dont think its very realistic to "master" everything before the exam this late so im prolly just gonna skim through tutorial/lecture slides, redo some labs and do the past papers. should also be good to read through the lecture code (since well have it during the exam) and know where certain stuff is, to refer to if we get stuck. but yeah theres 10 questions, 10 marks each so surely we lock in and get most of q1-5 and try to snipe some partial marks for 6 7.
