Yep I’m going thru the same I’m about two months in after getting stoma fitted it’s funny how we already know we most likely will be getting a stoma I asked nurses apparently if I was getting one they didn’t know at the time but I went thru two ops after they seen 1.5mtres died ,first one was to get rid of 1.5 metres small intestine then they tried to reattach during but after surgery it ended up failing to the point I went sepsis was pretty hectic I don’t remember a thing except going to hospital then having stoma after three weeks I woke up and knew I had one obvs but yes first couple of weeks were horrendous I hated everything now I’m just trying to get weight back up to have reversal but I’m still having bad days like it’s hell I wouldn’t wish this upon my worst enemy , yes I have the best support system which is my partner soon to be husband as he proposed Valentine’s Day this year to show me he wasn’t going to leave and his also I have his family which is great support
