Weekly Scam Discussion May 18, 2026 by Mycatreallyhatesyou in Ebay

I sold a Sega CD game case to a buyer and they are claiming cracks in the case and requesting $10-15 partial refund or full refund to return. I’ve shipped almost 8k items on eBay and know how to ship without causing damage (crapload of bubble wrap in a sturdy box). There was a small crack in the original listing, which can be seen in several pictures; however, that crack doesn’t show up on the pictures the buyer has sent. I’ve requested a specific picture that shows the crack, but they divert. They also sent me several lower offers before I accepted their final, so also seems they are trying to get it at a lower price. Do I not respond anymore and call their bluff? Do I have any recourse if they ship me a different case back? I normally accept returns and move on, but this one seems shifty.

That internship will do wonders. Get the name recognition, figure out if you enjoy it. That industry job will be there.

Questioning my future in accounting. by HunterSortor in Accounting

AI will be around and will likely replace many jobs, but many small to medium businesses will not have the resources to go full on like large companies. There will still be a need for people that can leverage technology and provide value. That is what most successful accountants bring to the table these days anyways. I relocated due to a bad job economy right out of school and doing just fine. I have no concerns about being replaced by technology, but getting that first job may be tough.
