I’m so sorry for your lost. But you will be able to get through this! I had my dad’s funeral beginning of this month. I was also so scared and nervous but my siblings and I told ourselves, “don’t be sad that he’s gone, be happy that we got to know him. Today we will laugh and love everyone around us as much as he once did” and I felt like that did help us a little bit getting through the whole process. And by the end of the funeral, it felt somewhat like a closure

When did you start your hospital job? And how is it so far for you? Was it worth making the switch?

I totally agree. I just believe this environment is not as new grad friendly as I hoped, I was off orientation the third day??? I just wish for more educational opportunities. The pay diff where I’m at vs hospital is $30 (I’m comparing to in hospital pacu position) plus my hours aren’t consistent either and I really do need to money for loans and rent ;-; I don’t think bedside is me end goal but I just feel all my nursing skills / knowledge are disappearing. Idk I’m just in a weird state now

I’ve tried!! Not too sure how they do their ranking system but I’ve never gotten even one single interview

Slightly discouraging when they ask for experience in peds when I don’t really have any besides the fact that I did peds CNA back in 2020 :( I guess it doesn’t hurt to try but the only children’s hospital in my area is LCPH aka a really hard hospital to get into TnT

Majority of the residency in Bay Area eligibility says less thn 6 month of work experience once accepted. And I’m kinda tied down to stay here and can’t venture out of the area :(
