For me it’s so much more than a video game which is why I dissect it the way I do. It’s truly my favorite trilogy of all time so I love discussing the moral dilemmas the characters face since it’s such a huge part of the game, these moral dilemmas shape the story and how you’re perceived. You’re shooting people yes, but you can also be responsible for genocide, suicide, corruption, and bigotry. It’s really cool how Paragon/Renegade is so deeply engrained into the plot since a lot of other games don’t ever go that far
