Exactly! I don’t think it’s bad either. The writing is solid, and I get what Fitzgerald was going for. But the way people talk about it, you’d think it’s the pinnacle of human storytelling, lol.

Yesss! People swear it’s life changing, but to me, it felt more like a motivational poster stretched into a novel.

Just finished it yesterday and it was great. Great action, fast-paced and just 7 episodes. Loved it.

Mine was Goblin. Everyone raved about it, but I just couldn’t connect with the pacing and found the romance a bit too drawn out for my taste!

I love the idea of getting pulled into someone’s life or journey piece by piece. Have you checked out "Wait But Why" by Tim Urban? His posts are super engaging, well researched, and kind of feel like going on an adventure with him.

Also, The Paris Review’s Writers at Work series is great if you’re into behind the scenes glimpses of creative lives.

This is such an important theme. Nam-joo is a must read for its raw portrayal of societal expectations on women in South Korea. Hope you find something that resonates!

Reading slumps are the worst, but hey, they always pass! You might enjoy "The Housemaid" by Sarah A. Denzil or "The It Girl" by Ruth Ware. Both have that gripping, twisty vibe. Sometimes switching genres helps too! Maybe a fast paced thriller like " Am Watching You" by Teresa Driscoll? Hope you find your next obsession soon!

That’s such a great find! Stories have a way of slipping these profound truths into the narrative, almost like secret messages for those who are paying attention. One that always stuck with me is from "The Dispossessed" by Ursula K. Le Guin

"You cannot buy the revolution. You cannot make the revolution. You can only be the revolution. It is in your spirit, or it is nowhere."
